Persona 3 Reload, developed by Atlus, offers fans a complete experience without the added content seen in Persona 4 Golden or Persona 5 Royal. Kazuhisa Wada, the production manager of the Persona Team, stated in an interview with GamerWK that there are currently no plans for an extended version of Persona 3 Reload.
Unlike its counterparts, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal, which saw considerable changes and additions to the original games, Persona 3 Reload remains as it is, providing a comprehensive experience without any extra content. This might raise questions among fans about the possibility of an extended version in the future. However, Wada’s assurance aligns with Atlus’ typical release schedule, where extended versions are usually released three to four years after the original. Therefore, fans might have to wait until 2027 for a potential upgrade to Persona 3 Reload.
